Welcome to the Data Mining and Bioinformatics Laboratory (DLab) in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Central South University. The lab is focused on developing novel data mining algorithms and methods, and applying them to the challenging problems in life sciences. The lab's current research include:

  • Development of fundamental technology and applications for data mining
  • Large-scale prediction of biomacromolecule interactions and the binding interfaces from structures
  • Function annotation of proteins with structure and heterogeneous data sources
  • Predicting functions of non-coding RNAs
  • Also, the lab is interested in developing softwares, such as auto park management systems and E-learning softwares.
